What happens at a first dermatology visit?
Your provider listens first: what’s going on, how long, what you’ve tried. Then a proper exam of the skin in question, and often the skin around it. You leave with a diagnosis or a clear plan to reach one, plus written next steps. Many concerns are diagnosed and treated in the same visit.
Do you perform skin surgery at this office?
