I had to come back and get stitches removed , it was awesome- walked in they called me to the back, took stitches out and was gone before my appointment time had even begun . Glad I found out about Jax Dermatologist 😀 .

I came here one week after I had my bi- yearly skin check at the place I’ve gone for years. I noticed something on my ear and my regular dermatologist would not look at it quick , I’d have to get another apt and pay another fee since they were now out of network. I looked for another office that took my HMO and read online reviews. Jax Dermatology and Cosmetic procedures got me right in. The doctor was kind and had a great bedside manner. She looked at my ear and it was ok then asked if I minded she look at my face. I said sure. She wiped off a little makeup and showed me where I had 2 areas of precancerous skin. She suggested to freeze them off. She took care of it, gave me literature of what these areas were called and how it should heal. She also offered information about discoloration in my skin from years of sun exposure and gave me a sample of a cream to try and another handout to read. I’m very glad I got right in and was treated quickly and educated. I’m not sure why my first dermatologist did not see the precancerous skin on my face when I was there a week before. Hmmm… I’ve got a new dermatologist now! Thank you! 😊

It has been some time since my last visit to Jacksonville Dermatology & Cosmetic Surgery. I was extremely impressed with my past visits. The practice has added new members and continues with the excellent and personal service with the patient. Very happy with the experience. Would like to see the addition of Mohs and IG-SRT.
