This was my first visit to Jax Dermatology and I was impressed by the professionalism at the front desk, the knowledge and expertise of the staff and the kindness extended to me during treatment. I arrived very early to my appointment to give me time to fill out paperwork and was more than willing to come back for the actual appointment, however, staff got me in early and there was no "wait" involved I want to thank the staff for such prompt and courteous service.
My second visit on July 2, 2025, was equally satisfying. I was taken into the exam room within 5 minutes of arriving. The services of Dr. Stepien were accomplished with ease and perfect professionalism. I appreciate a practice that values their patients and does their absolute best to provide the services with such knowledge and expert handling. What Causes Seborrheic Keratoses?
It is not entirely clear what causes seborrheic keratoses. However, normal skin aging and too much sun exposure do play a role. Seborrheic keratoses also tend to run in families, so genes may be a cause. They are not contagious, so you cannot get them from others or spread them to someone else.
